i LOVE gregory alan isakov. his song The Stable Song is just beautiful. 

hmm.. bands that i would recommend for you then would be Band of Horses, Death Cab For Cutie, Bombay Bicycle Club, Two Door Cinema Club, Grouplove, Givers and Sufjan Stevens.
